This dress is lovely. However, the buttons on top have a very disappointing, inadequate amount of stretch and come undone so easily that it's very difficult to make this dress work. My size up top is a 38C, which is a pretty common size for women who have had children. It's not common for me to have that problem with dresses. If you look at reviews from other purchasers who bought this in another color, you'll see echos of similar issues with the buttons. I also noticed that even in the pictures with the models there's an indication of insufficient stretching between the second and third buttons. That's the main place where the buttons need a lot more give. After receiving the first dress in my usual size, I ordered another one a size bigger with the hopes that the buttons would work better, but they didn't.
